FAQ

How can On-time billing help me improve my practice revenue

Upon beginning working with On-Time Billing we will take a close look at your practices existing A/R. We will go back and locate where there are problems with excessive denials, potential credentialing issues as well as coding-related issues. On-time billing will work immediately to begin to resolve denials recorded up to 365 days prior as allowed by various insurance companies.

How we can assist your practice with cost savings.

Reducing the need for costly and unreliable billing staff.

Reduced cost for medical and PTO benefits, as well as payroll taxes.

Freeing up space for additional providers or alternative staff thereby improving overall practice revenue and cash flow.

What are the fees for working with On-Time Billing

On-Time Billing does not charge on a “per claim” basis. Your practice is charged a reasonable contracted percentage on all claim receipts. In other words, we only make money when you make money! Because we have a vested interest in working all denied claims and ensuring the highest level of “clean” claims possible. Since we only get paid when you get paid this can translate into additional cost savings for your practice. Instead of paying your billing specialist no matter what the outcome we get paid only by our success in getting claims paid. Outsourcing is great way to manage your accounts receivable!

Do we do provider credentialing

Yes!! For a separate fee we will work with your providers or office manager to collect information for and take from start to finish the laborious process of provider credentialing.

If during the initial audit of the practice A/R it is found that there are issues with credentialing that are interfering with the efficient submission and collection of claims submitted to the various insurance panels we will bring this to the practice’s attention and work with you to resolve those issues in a timely and efficient manner so you can get back to seeing patients and building your practice.

Additionally, if your practice takes on new providers, we are here to help you by managing the credentialing process as quickly as possible. We can credential any specialty.

Can I keep my EHR/EMR

Yes!! We will work with your existing practice software to gather claims and submit them to our clearinghouse, from there the insurance company will pay the claims and they will be deposited into your bank account. You will receive an invoice from On-Time billing for the fees related to our work on a monthly basis.

If you need a new practice software we can help you get started with our affiliate partner for you EHR needs.

Is this service tax-deductible.
